Paying Customers to Make Burgers?

May 16, 2012

Kenny Bowers, owner of Dallas’ Kenny’s Burger Joint, has been in the restaurant business for over two decades, his restaurants have been selected for numerous local “Best Of” awards, and his burgers have caused people to fight when anyone says something bad against it — I’ve witnessed it. Now, to make his burgers even better, he’s paying someone else to make them.

Bowers is giving Facebook members the opportunity to get their Dream Burger on his menu… and he’s paying them. “The Assignment” is simple.

  1. Build your Dream Burger (10 ingredients or less).
  2. Take a photo of your burger at home.
  3. Submit your burger and recipe on Facebook.
  4. Get your friends to VOTE for your burger.

The Burger with the most votes as of May 31st will receive a $100 Gift card to Kenny’s Burger Joint. Four honorable mentions will also receive prizes.

For complete contest rules, visit  Kenny’s Burger Joint on Facebook.
